Description
Peace and tranquility in thoroughly cozy and picturesque surroundings—these are the perfect keywords for the holiday you can enjoy here in this lovely summer house in Rømø’s Sønderstrand area.
Welcome inside
In the summer house, the vaulted ceiling, wooden paneling on the walls, and an efficient wood stove contribute to the cozy details indoors. The furnishings complement the classic wooden house, which was built in 1978—since then, it has been nicely maintained and updated with modern amenities such as WiFi, a dishwasher, and a large flat-screen TV to make your holiday comfortable. The wood stove is located in the living room, which is open to a well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen was completely renovated in 2021, featuring new cabinetry and appliances. A bathroom, renovated in 2024, is also part of the layout, along with three bedrooms, all equipped with double beds.
Enjoy life outside
The summer house is beautifully situated on a 2.500 m² lush plot. Birch and pine trees screen the property well, allowing you to play freely on the lawn and enjoy life on the sunny terrace area. For the younger guests, there is a swing and sandbox available, while the whole family can relax on the sun loungers and later gather at the garden table for barbecuing and cozy moments.
Get up close to the local attractions
The location is perfect for golfers, bird enthusiasts, nature lovers, and those simply seeking a peaceful and tranquil holiday environment. The beautiful 18-hole links course of Rømø Golf Club is located very close to the summer house, and the Stormengene bird reserve, the Wadden Sea, and Vråby tree plantation are also nearby. Additionally, it is just about a kilometer to the lovely Sønderstrand beach, known as one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches. If you feel like enjoying a good meal after a swim or a walk along the North Sea, you can head to Havneby, where you can shop at the supermarket, indulge in delicacies from the fish shops or settle down at a good restaurant. From Havneby, you can also take the ferry for a pleasant trip to List on the neighboring German island of Sylt—and if you prefer to stay on Rømø, you can rent bicycles and set off to explore the Wadden Sea island’s small roads and paths.
