Description
How would you prefer to spend your holiday days? With hot cocoa and board games by the wood-burning stove, soaking up the sun on the terrace, or out in the unspoiled nature? You can do it all when your holiday takes place in this lovely wooden summer house located in Kongsmark in the heart of Rømø.
Welcome inside
The classic wooden summer house has been gradually renovated in 2018-2019, and most recently in 2023, so the house looks modern and well-appointed. The living room is open to the kitchen, where you can relax on the sofa near the wood-burning stove – or you can sit on the bar stools at the kitchen counter to chat while preparing meals. Bedrooms are, of course, also part of the layout: There are a total of three rooms in the house, two furnished with double beds and the third with a bunk bed.
Enjoy life outside
On the 2,500 m² natural plot, the house is beautifully surrounded by deciduous and coniferous trees. This not only provides a lovely view but also helps to shield the outdoor areas, allowing you to enjoy sun and summer life in quiet and secluded surroundings. To the south of the summer house, a good wooden terrace stretches out, equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers, and a grill. In other words, it’s a perfect outdoor base for truly relaxing.
Get up close to the local attractions
Umanaksvej is a small gravel road in Kongsmark, which is a peaceful and scenic area centrally located on Rømø. Within a short walking distance from the house, you’ll find the island's good butcher, and it’s not far to Nature Center Tønnisgård, Café Hattesgaard, and the cozy forest playground in Kirkeby Plantation. You are also close to Rømø’s eastern coast, where you can enjoy the view over the Wadden Sea towards the mainland. The trip to the island’s west coast is definitely worth taking as well, for here you can swim in the North Sea and frolic on the beautiful Lakolk Beach. If the weather isn’t suitable for a beach day, you can alternatively drive over the Rømø Dam to Skærbæk, where you have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret.
