Description
Do you need a large cottage for your next holiday? And do you not want to compromise on quality? Then you should take a closer look at this lovely and well-appointed cottage in the Sønderstrand area, as it can easily and comfortably accommodate ten overnight guests.
Welcome inside
Inside the modern quality cottage, built in 2006, you can spread out over a total of 190 m². The layout is perfectly designed with five bedrooms and two bathrooms, so a large family, two families with children, or several couples of friends can quickly feel at home. One of the bathrooms is equipped with both a hot tub and a sauna – which are some of the luxurious details that enhance your holiday experience. There is also foosball in the small activity room, and if there are children on holiday, they will surely designate the loft as their private cozy corner. The social gathering point in the house will probably be the lovely living room, which, in classic cottage style, features vaulted ceilings, a wood stove, and large windows offering a view over the natural plot. Like the rest of the house, there is underfloor heating here, and the open kitchen provides a lovely workspace when preparing breakfast and the day's meals.
Enjoy life outside
The beautiful natural plot measures 2.600 m², so there is also plenty of space to play outside – as well as good facilities such as a beach volleyball court, outdoor shower, sandbox, and swings. The terrace is large, south facing, and sunny, and there is even a covered area, so you can stay outside even if the dew falls.
Get up close to the local attractions
A large part of the day can easily be spent in the house and the garden – but there is also plenty of reason to venture out into Rømø’s beautiful natural surroundings. For example, you are close to Sønderstrand, known as one of Europe’s widest beaches. Here, you can drive right down to the beach near the North Sea, and for those who enjoy play, there are opportunities to engage in wind sports like kite buggy and blokart. Bird enthusiasts will appreciate being close to the Stormengene bird reserve, which leads right down to the Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and throughout the year, guided tours are offered on Rømø so you can get up close to the unique nature. In Havneby, you can play golf, shop, and dine out, and from the harbor, you can take the ferry to Sylt. Another lovely excursion is to drive over the causeway to the mainland into Skærbæk, where you as a guest in this house have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret.
