Description
You can look forward to a relaxing holiday in luxurious and scenic surroundings when you choose this quality holiday home by the Wadden Sea as your next destination.
Welcome inside
The holiday home, which more precisely is a townhouse, is situated so close to the Wadden Sea and the beach meadows that you can enjoy the picturesque view from both the ground floor, the first floor, and the terrace. On the ground floor, it is especially the house's sunny bay window that provides a great vantage point, and on the first floor, you can even admire the coastal landscape while enjoying life in the hot tub in the bathroom. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor: It doesn’t offer a sea view, but it does feature a lovely sauna. Not only the two bathrooms, but also the house’s beautiful living area is equipped with underfloor heating – and the solar heating system on the roof contributes to keeping energy consumption low. Like the rest of the house, the three bedrooms are furnished with high-quality furniture. In total, there are six sleeping spaces in the bedrooms, all equipped with blackout curtains, while the loft provides room for two extra holiday guests.
Enjoy life outside
The whole family can easily gather on the house's lovely and sunny terrace. There are nice garden furniture and comfortable sun loungers available, as well as a grill, allowing you to move cooking from the kitchen to the outdoors. If the children can’t sit still while the coals are heating up, they can head over to play at the nearby playground. A gate is installed at the terrace, so the dog can be let out without worries.
Get up close to the local attractions
It’s fantastic to spend your holiday right by the Wadden Sea, as it opens up a world of opportunities. Firstly, the Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, so a prime natural view awaits you. The birdlife is abundant, the horizon is vast, and the air feels fresh when you take a walk near the water. If you keep an eye on the tide table, you can stroll right out onto the seabed at low tide – and if you prefer a guided tour, you can join an oyster tour or other Wadden Sea expeditions. There are also opportunities for boating: For example can you take the ferry from Havneby to the German holiday island of Sylt for a day trip. At the harbor, you can see the fishing boats coming in with the day’s catch, and if you head over to one of Havneby’s restaurants, you can taste the Rømø shrimps, one of the island’s local delicacies. There is free access to the swimming pool at Skærbækcentret.
