Description
This lovely holiday home is a thoroughly high-quality construction filled with delightful details – including a hot tub and sauna in the two bathrooms. The summer house is located in the second row to the Wadden Sea, allowing you to enjoy the sea view both indoors and out on the terrace.
Welcome inside
More precisely, this is a half duplex with a solid red brick facade and a solar heating system on the roof, keeping energy consumption down. Inside, you can spread out over 113 m² divided into two floors, and both upstairs and downstairs, the decor is exceptionally beautiful with nice furniture and cozy details. In the living room, you can light the wood-burning stove if it’s cold outside, and regardless of the weather, it’s wonderful to sit at the dining table in the bay window and enjoy the delightful light and the view over the Wadden Sea. The living room is open to a well-equipped kitchen, and both areas feature underfloor heating. This is also found in the house's two bathrooms, which are conveniently located on each floor. The bathroom on the ground floor is also equipped with a sauna, while the bathroom on the first floor features a lovely hot tub – and even a view to the sea. The house has three bedrooms, all located on the first floor, and in addition, there is a loft with two extra sleeping spaces.
Enjoy life outside
Surrounding the house is a lovely terrace area with several delightful seating spots and sunny corners. A part of the terrace is completely enclosed by a sturdy and decorative gabion wall. Here, you can lean back in the comfortable garden furniture and enjoy the coastal landscape and peaceful holiday atmosphere – and if you need some shade, you can make use of the wide awning.
Get up close to the local attractions
When you stay so close to the Wadden Sea, there are plenty of opportunities to explore this fascinating tidal area. The Wadden Sea not only lends its name to the local national park, but is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, so world-class nature awaits right outside your door. At the top of Havneby Dike, you can follow a path that runs right by the water – and even when you play golf at the local golf club’s links course, it takes place on Rømø’s southernmost coastline. The summer house is also conveniently close to Havneby’s restaurants, supermarket, and the harbor itself, from where you can take the ferry to the German holiday island of Sylt. Additionally, there is bicycle rental in the town if you wish to explore Rømø’s small roads and paths by bike.
