The most recent renova­tion took place in 2019, so all rooms are presented in a neat and inviting manner – including the bathroom and the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a single bed that can be converted into a double bed. A large portion of the square footage is dedicated to the summer house's lovely living area, which consists of a dining kitchen and a living room in open con­nection. In both ends of the room, the large windows ensure good light and a view of the garden, while the wood-burning stove and air con­di­tio­ning provide warmth even on a cool evening.

Enjoy life outside
On sunny summer days, it’s wonderful to move outdoor living to the fresh air, where you have several terraces to choose from. To the south, there is a partially covered terrace area, and there is also a west-facing terrace if you prefer to sunbathe, have cozy con­ver­sa­tions, and grill here. The 2646 m² natural plot also offers plenty of space for play, while the planting provides shelter and privacy.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The location is excellent, as the summer house is situated at the end of a small cul-de-sac, which makes it well back from Småfolksvej. Overall, Kongsmark is a lovely place to stay, as you have easy access to all corners of Rømø, whether you want to take an excursion to the beautiful Sønder­strand, the child-friendly Lakolk Beach, the stunning heather landscape at Bolilmark, or the cozy Havneby. In the latter, you will find a su­per­mar­ket, fish shops, a golf course, and bike rentals – but if you want to shop for your grill dinner, you can stay in Kongsmark, as this is where the island's popular butcher is located. Before you start preparing your evening meal, you can enjoy Rømø's beautiful natural sur­ro­un­dings, for example, with a walk near the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its unique tidal area.
