Description
This cozy summer house is as close to Rømø’s beautiful Sønderstrand beach as you can get. From Rimmevej 51, you only need to walk a few hundred meters through the flat farmland before you find yourself on the spectacularly wide beach—unless you prefer to stay at home to relax in the living room or play on the large nature plot.
Welcome inside
The 72 m² large summer house has a sensible layout for 6 people with, among others, three bedrooms. As a practical feature, the bathroom and toilet are separate, while the living room is open to a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and other good appliances. In the living room, there is a flat-screen TV connected to satellite, so you can watch Danish or German TV, and you also have Wi-Fi access for family members who want to surf the web or send holiday photos to friends. The wood stove and heat pump help maintain a comfortable temperature if it’s cold outside, and the garden door in the living room makes it easy to step out onto the terrace when the sun appears in the sky.
Enjoy life outside
The 2.534 m² plot is a lovely oasis on summer days. There is a partially covered terrace area extending from the house, and you can also find other nice seating areas in the green and secluded surroundings. The lawn invites you to play ball games and have fun, and the youngest guests can enjoy themselves in the sandbox and on the swings while the adults get the grill going and start preparing dinner.
Get up close to the local attractions
Rimmevej is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend your holiday. Stormengene at the southern tip of Rømø is a nature reserve with rich birdlife, and there is both a pony farm and a golf course nearby, with a five-minute drive to the village of Havneby. The best part is being so close to Sønderstrand beach, which is not only an impressive sight but also a great place for beach sailing and horseback riding due to its vast sandy expanses. Further north lies the beach of Lakolk, which is also worth a visit or two, and you can look forward to exploring all of Rømø, which offers dense plantations, open heathland, and much more.
