Description
Whether you are going to the summer house to enjoy time indoors or outdoors in the fresh air, it is delightful to stay at Præstekraven 7 in Rømø’s attractive Sønderstrand area. This lovely, thatched house is equipped with everything from a hot tub and sauna to a cozy wood-burning stove and a secluded terrace – and it is conveniently close to Sønderstrand itself, which invites to activities and relaxation in scenic surroundings.
Welcome inside
In this summer house, you can easily invite friends or family, as there are sleeping accommodations for six people distributed across four bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is located on the first floor along with a bathroom and a sauna, while the other three bedrooms are grouped together in a section on the ground floor with a spa bathroom. A trip to the sauna and a well-deserved break in the hot tub are perfect forms of holiday wellness, and it’s also just wonderful to relax on the sofa in the living room while watching the wood-burning stove and a glimpse of the green nature plot. The kitchen is open to the living room, so even when you’re the one cooking, you can chat with the rest of the good company.
Enjoy life outside
If you or one of your loved ones has whipped up a delicious meal in the kitchen, you might consider enjoying it outside when the weather is warm and summery. A large terrace extends from the living room, offering great opportunities to find a sunny spot for most of the day. And if you prefer shade, you can move under the parasol instead. The holiday atmosphere is at its best when the grill is fired up, and the children play hide-and-seek among the trees of the natural plot – or when you simply sit back in the garden chairs and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Sønderstrand area.
Get up close to the local attractions
From Præstekraven, you can easily stroll out into the beautiful landscape, whether you want to walk in the small dune heaths of Vestergårde Bjerge, take the dog to the Vråby tree plantation, or enjoy life on the beach Sønderstrand. The incredibly wide sandy beach is a spectacular sight – especially when tourists and locals are kite buggying or trying other forms of wind sports. You can also head to Rømø Golf Club, where you can play golf on the beautiful links course facing the Wadden Sea, and in Havneby, you can explore all the dining options, visit the flea market, and buy fresh seafood from the local fishmonger.
