The house, which is actually an annex to an old commander's farm, features beautiful and classic architecture, and not only the thatched roof but many interior details also appear new and nice after the recent renovation.
Welcome inside
Behind the beautiful red brickwork awaits you a lovely holiday home spread over two levels, totaling 90 m². The house can accommodate up to eight people indoors, as there are three beds in each of the two bedrooms upstairs, while the ground-floor bedroom features a double bed. From the entrance, you have access to the bathroom, which is divided into a separate bath and toilet, in addition to a cozy living room with a sofa, electric fireplace, and flat-screen TV. Finally, there is the newly renovated kitchen-dining area, which is wonderfully spacious, making it a great place to gather, whether you want to cook or just come together around the dining table for hours of board games and pleasant conversation.
Enjoy life outside
From the kitchen, you have direct access to a private outdoor area where you can spend time, and in front of the house lies a sunny terrace, which is available for your use. In total, you share the grounds with three other summer houses, and on the large natural area, you have plenty of space to play ball with the kids, romp with the dogs, and catch grasshoppers in the tall grass while the local birds chirp from the treetops. Cars must be parked in the parking area, ensuring peace and quietness – and there is also an electric car charger available if you need it.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is well-located on Lyngvejen, just a few minutes’ walk from the bakery Rømø Bageriet and the grocery store Den Gamle Købmandsgård. Nearby, you'll find both a mini-golf course and an Icelandic horse center, and thanks to its favorable location, you’ll also quickly reach the center of the village of Havneby when you want to shop or dine out. From the harbor, you can take a ferry trip to the famous German island Sylt, and if you prefer to stay on Rømø, you can try the local golf course, experience the rich bird life, or visit the beautiful beaches along the west coast facing the North Sea. You will also have great opportunities to explore the Wadden Sea – for example, on an oyster safari, where you walk out on the mudflat to collect and enjoy the delicious seafood.
