You will be living next to the forest and just one kilometer from the stunning Sønderstrand beach when you enjoy your holiday in this beautifully renovated summer house.
Welcome inside
The summer house fits perfectly into the scenic surroundings, standing proudly with its tall, thatched roof and dark brown wooden facade. Inside it is clear, that the house underwent a thorough renovation in 2022, featuring modern furnishings and light colors on the walls. At the same time, the house has retained its spirit and lovely atmosphere, making it a truly inviting place for coziness and relaxation. A well-equipped kitchen with a dining area is open to the living room, which includes a wood stove, heat pump, a lovely sofa area, and a flat-screen TV with Chromecast. A nice bathroom with a shower and a bedroom with a double bed are also located on the ground floor, and if you take the stairs to the first floor, you will find two additional bedrooms, also with double beds. The largest bedroom additionally has a built-in bed on one side, and the large window provides direct access to a south-facing balcony.
Enjoy life outside
The covered balcony on the first floor is a cozy place to relax, and when you wake up in the morning, you might choose to start your day here, soaking in the birdsong and the lovely view of the nature plot. If the weather is nice, you can also move your breakfast outdoors to the terrace that extends to the east, south, and west of the house—and you can even use the outdoor shower, and the wonderful barrel sauna located on the grounds. Throughout the day, the children can swing or play in the sandbox, as well as play hide and seek among the trees on the property, and in the evening, there's an opportunity to fire up the grill and gather around the garden table.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is located at the very northern end of the Sønderstrand area, with Vråby tree plantation stretching out on the other side of the road. If you are bringing a dog on holiday, it is nice to know that the local dog park is only 300 meters away, and you can, of course, take your four-legged family member on a leash along the forest trails and Rømø’s charming roads. If you want to go to the beach, it’s about a kilometer to Sønderstrand beach, which with its vast sandy expanses is perfect for kite buggying, blokarting, and other forms of wind sports. A dip in the North Sea is also a possibility, and if you work up an appetite from all the activities, you have just a few kilometers to the supermarket, the fish shop, and restaurants in Havneby.
