Description
This summer house in Rømø’s desirable Lakolk area is an excellent choice for those looking to vacation in cozy and scenic surroundings.
Welcome inside
The summer house was built in 1964 and has since been carefully maintained, updated, and even expanded. As a result, you can now enjoy holiday living in a large and bright living area that features tiled floors with underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, and a modern kitchen, the latter of which was installed in 2014. The bathroom is also beautifully presented with nice and simple decor. In the living area, light streams in through large windows from three sides – and thanks to the good insulation, you can easily enjoy indoor coziness all year round. When you’re not relaxing with cooking projects, enjoyable meals, an exciting movie on TV, or a reading session on the sofa, you might consider whether it’s time for a midday nap in one of the two bedrooms, which are furnished with a double bed and two single beds, respectively.
Enjoy life outside
The siesta can also take place outdoors, where you have access to a lovely terrace of about 100 m². Part of the terrace is covered if you desire shade, and otherwise, you can sunbathe in the sun loungers on the open section, which extends both to the east and south of the summer house.
Get up close to the local attractions
From the summer house, it is just a few hundred meters to Lakolk Beach, which is considered one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches. It is a wonderful place to enjoy sunshine and summer temperatures – especially when you can refresh yourself with a lovely dip in the North Sea. If the weather isn’t suitable for swimming, you can instead walk along the water and admire the magnificent coastal landscape. And even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, you won’t miss out on a swimming session, as you have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret on the mainland.
