Thatched holiday home with a spa, sauna, and views of the Wadden Sea
House-ID: 0225It looks idyllic here on Kromosevej, where this delightful holiday home is located. The thatched holiday home is situated on one of Rømø's most beautiful natural plots, and from both the house and the terrace, you have an unobstructed view of the Wadden Sea and the stunning coastline.
Welcome inside
The thatched holiday home presents itself in an attractive and classic manner with a red-painted wooden facade, white sash windows, and a thatched roof. Indoors, the atmosphere is top-notch, featuring light wood paneling on the walls, a wood stove, and other cozy holiday home details – and of course, the magnificent view of the Wadden Sea is a highlight. Comfort has also been considered, as the three bedrooms are furnished with comfortable beds, and the bathroom includes both a spa and a sauna, allowing you to truly relax and enjoy life. The well-appointed kitchen, renovated in 2016, is open to the living room, creating a lovely bright and airy living space where you can quickly make yourself at home.
Enjoy life outside
The holiday home's terrace area is naturally oriented towards the Wadden Sea, so you can make the most of the view while enjoying your holiday in the great outdoors. There are several seating areas to choose from on the terrace – including two covered areas that are also sheltered if you need to find some shade. If you don’t just want to relax in the sun loungers, there is plenty of space to play and enjoy garden games on the 2,500 m² natural plot.
Get up close to the local attractions
It is wonderful to spend your holiday so close to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site as a unique marsh and tidal area. If you want to get to know the Wadden Sea even better, there are opportunities to take a guided tour – for example, an oyster safari, where you walk out to collect the tasty shellfish during low tide. Rømø also offers many other exciting nature experiences: Near the house, you can explore Kirkeby Plantation, and if you continue a bit further west, you can climb Spidsbjerg, which is one of the most beautiful viewpoints on the otherwise flat island. You will find a good selection of restaurants around the island, and there is also a bakery, butcher, and grocery store nearby when it's time to stock up the fridge.
