Even from the outside, it is evident from the dark wooden facade, light blue window frames, and thatched roof that this is a summer house full of charm and per­so­na­li­ty. The same im­pres­sion is carried indoors, where rustic wooden walls and ceilings can be found – also in the three bedrooms and the bathroom, the latter of which was renovated in 2011. The view is ex­cep­tio­nal, espe­ci­al­ly from the living room, where you can enjoy the sight of the green natural grounds and gaze far over the open fields. In the living area, the living room and kitchen are well in­te­gra­ted, and there is a fireplace ready to enhance the cozy at­mosp­he­re on cool evenings.

Enjoy life outside
You will likely spend a large part of your vacation outdoors when the weather is pleasant. In any case, you have access to a lovely covered terrace, and there is plenty of space to play, kick a ball, and lounge on the lawn. Thanks to the south-facing position of the terrace, it is not only sunny but also has views of the open landscape, with even glimpses of the Wadden Sea from the natural grounds.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
With such a beautiful location, you don’t even need to go on excur­sions to enjoy Rømø’s stunning natural sur­ro­un­dings. However, if you’re tempted to take a trip, there are plenty of sights and ex­pe­ri­en­ces to enjoy: For example, you are quite close to the east coast and the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and by car or bike, you can quickly reach the west coast, where you can swim in the North Sea and stroll along the wide sandy beach at Lakolk. Near the summer house, you’ll find Rømø’s popular butcher, and it’s not far to Hat­tes­gaard, which sells antiques and delicious cakes in the café. Just a few hundred meters away is the Nature Center Tønnisgård, which organizes exciting guided tours for both children and adults.
