Welcome inside
The summer house is a bright and exceptionally cozy specimen from 1970, well-maintained thanks to careful renovations. The layout is sensible, featuring three good bedrooms, all located on the first floor. There is also a toilet on the first floor, while the house’s bathroom is on the ground floor. A new bathroom on the ground floor from 2021. Here, you’ll also find the lovely living area, comprising an open-plan kitchen and living room. The well-equipped kitchen is a delightful place to cook, and thanks to the open layout, it’s easy to join in on the family fun and enjoy the warmth from the fireplace, even while handling today’s cooking duties. If you feel like a trip to the sauna, you’ll need to head over to the extension, which also offers an extra shower as well as a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and freezer.
Enjoy life outside
The outdoor areas are wonderful, as the summer house is situated on a large natural plot, sheltered by pine trees. On part of the plot, the vegetation is allowed to grow more wild. Finally, there’s the terrace, which spreads around several sides of the summer house and the extensions. Regardless of the time of day, it’s easy to find a sunny spot to relax, and if you prefer shade, you can put up the parasol or sit on the covered balcony on the first floor.
Get up close to the local attractions
On the other side of the closed road, a protected nature area extends all the way to Lakolk – so it’s no exaggeration to say that everything breathes peace and idyll at this location. From Kongsmark, it’s easy to embark on excursions in Rømø’s beautiful nature: Lakolk is the right destination if you want to swim in the North Sea and play on a wide sandy beach, while Sønderstrand is a wonderful spot for blockart and kite buggy. If you want to play golf, head toward Havneby, where you can also rent bicycles and take the ferry to Sylt. At Rømø’s coasts, it’s a great idea to take a closer look at the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. For example, you can enjoy the panoramic view as you drive over the Rømø causeway into the mainland.
