Enjoy life outside
From the living room on the first floor, you can step out onto a large, covered balcony, and from here, the view over the Wadden Sea and the beach meadows is worth spending time on. You might even find yourself lost in admiration of the natural surroundings while sitting here – or you can move down to ground level, where you have two terrace areas to choose from. One terrace is the largest and is south-facing, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunny weather.
Get up close to the local attractions
The Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, so you are truly right on the edge of world-class nature. If you don’t spend all your time here, you can use sunny days to explore Rømø's nature, which boasts open heathlands, beautiful plantations, and fine viewpoints like Spidsbjerg and Høstbjerg. Lakolk Beach is also a lovely destination, where you can swim in the North Sea and play on the sandy beach, recognized as one of the widest in Europe. Additionally, you will find a good selection of shopping opportunities and dining options on Rømø, so there is essentially no reason to leave the island. You have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret.
