Description
If you would like to spend your vacation days relaxing, enjoying nature, and perhaps taking a trip or two, you have found the perfect place. This cozy summer house is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and its central location on Rømø is ideal when you want to explore the lovely Wadden Sea island.
Welcome inside
Sheltered by the green trees of the natural plot, the summer house shines with its red wooden façade and white window frames. You can also enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings while cozying up indoors, as you have an unobstructed view of the pine trees and blue sky—especially in the living area, where the windows face three corners of the world. In the living area, the living room and kitchen are combined, and there is a wood-burning stove ready to spread coziness and warmth. An air-source heat pump can also be used, and with a Wi-Fi connection and a flat-screen TV with cable, entertainment is taken care of for the cool evenings. The well-maintained summer house also features three good bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and washing machine.
Enjoy life outside
On the 2,578 m2 natural plot, there is plenty of space for garden games, barbecue dinners, and sun-kissed relaxation. The raised southwest-facing terrace is a lovely spot to lean back and completely unwind, but there are also several other seating areas on the secluded plot.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is nicely set back from the road, which emphasizes the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, the summer house area is quiet, and you won’t have to venture far from the house before you find yourself gazing out over Rømø’s vast natural areas. It's also not far to Kirkeby Plantation, where, in addition to good hiking trails, you'll find a natural playground and a dog park. From the house, you have easy access to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site as a unique tidal area. The Wadden Sea serves as a stopover for huge flocks of migratory birds during both spring and autumn and is also home to a large number of Pacific oysters. You can even go out to collect oysters yourself—such as on a guided oyster tour, if you’d like expert guidance. Vacation days can also be spent swimming at Lakolk Strand, riding block carts at Sønderstrand, golfing in Havneby, or simply visiting as many of Rømø’s great dining spots as possible.
