If you want a forest trip, Tvismark Plan­ta­tion is nearby, and it’s only a couple of ki­lo­me­ters to the child-friendly Lakolk Beach on the west coast of Rømø. Here in the northern part of Rømø, you’ll be close to Juvre, which is a great spot for bird watching, and you’re also not far from the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site as a unique tidal area. You can enjoy the view of the Wadden Sea, espe­ci­al­ly as you drive over the Rømø em­bank­ment into the Jutland mainland.
