Indoors, the same inviting style continues, featuring light wood paneling on the walls, a wood stove, and nice furnishings that blend well with the cozy spaces – which consist of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a utility room, and a living room with an alcove and integrated kitchen. Notably, the large windows in the living room provide ample natural light and ensure that you can enjoy the green surroundings even while staying warm indoors. Speaking of warmth, in addition to the wood stove, there is also a heat pump that you can use on cooler days. If you truly want to relax, you can prepare for a genuine wellness evening in the bathroom with the spa and sauna.
Enjoy life outside
On the 2,900 m² plot, you have plenty of space for play and laid-back relaxation. Besides the lawn, there are swings for playful family members, and the sunny hours can be spent on the terrace that wraps around three sides of the house. Part of the terrace is covered, so you can comfortably stay outside and enjoy the summer evening even when the dew falls. On the other side of the garden boundary, there are fields, allowing you to enjoy the sight of Rømø's beautiful church and the open landscape to the west.
Get up close to the local attractions
From the small side road, it’s just a short stroll before you reach Rømø’s east coast and gaze out over the Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea lends its name to the local national park, which is Denmark's largest, and this beautiful tidal area is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The natural surroundings in Kromose are truly outstanding, and the nearby Kirkeby Plantation and the viewpoint Spidsbjerg are also worth a visit. If you want to swim, Lakolk Beach and Sønderstrand are perfect excursion destinations – unless you prefer an indoor swim, in which case you can drive over the dam to the mainland, where, as a guest in the holiday home, you have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret.
