The view on Dyssebjergvej in the popular Sønderstrand area is idyllic, where this fine cottage is located. Here, you will reside in beautiful and peaceful natural surroundings, and in a bright and inviting holiday home with lovely seating areas both indoors and outdoors.

Welcome inside
With its thatched roof, white-paned windows, and black wooden facade, the cottage has a lovely and classic look, which nicely matches the pleasant atmosphere inside. After a renovation project in 2015, which updated the living area on the ground floor and the sleeping section on the first floor, the cottage's decor consists of a successful mix of nice and comfortable furnishings, cozy details, and modern amenities – including WiFi, a heat pump, and a washing machine. The layout on the ground floor briefly features an entrance with laundry facilities, a bathroom with a shower niche, a bedroom with a double bed, and a living area with an integrated kitchen and living room. On the first floor, you will find three additional bedrooms and a TV room that has direct access to the cottage's large and lovely balcony.

Enjoy life outside
The balcony is a delightful spot when you want to enjoy the view of the peaceful and beautiful natural surroundings from above. Alternatively, you can settle on the partially covered tiled terrace, which, like the balcony, faces south and is therefore perfect for sunshine. The terrace serves as a perfect setting for both sunbathing and barbecue dinners – while the swing set and sandbox are a charming detail for the youngest family members who need to play and burn off energy.

Get up close to the local attractions
Even though the natural plot is large, you will likely feel the urge to explore the local area. Excursions can of course be undertaken on foot, and if you prefer to cycle, you can rent everything from tandem bicycles to mountain bikes in the village of Havneby. There are also several riding centers nearby that organize horseback rides to the forest and beach – and speaking of the beach, there is even the opportunity to try blokart and engage in other forms of wind sports on the wide beach of Sønderstrand. In other words, your transportation options are many, and you choose the pace here on Rømø. If you feel like exploring off the island, a cozy trip with the ferry from Havneby to List on the neighboring island of Sylt is highly recommended.

Rømø offers a variety of activities, including different forms of wind sports that only can be practiced in few places in Europe. This opens a variety of excursion options.
