Welcome inside
Although this is a modern building from 2007, the classic holiday home style is top-notch: From the outside, the house charms with its thatched roof and red wooden facade, and indoors, there are bright wooden walls and a vaulted ceiling that con­tri­bu­te to a sense of spa­cious­ness. The natural light is also abundant, espe­ci­al­ly in the lovely living area, where a large glass section stretches from floor to ceiling in the west-facing gable. This also means you have an unob­structed view of the beautiful natural plot while enjoying time in the sofa area, sitting around the dining table, or even cooking in the open, well-equipped kitchen. From the living area, you have direct access to the house’s bathroom, which is equipped with a washing machine, un­der­floor heating, and even a lovely sauna. Two bedrooms, both furnished with double beds, are located side by side, while the house's loft offers two ad­di­tio­nal sleeping spaces in the form of two single mattres­ses.

Enjoy life outside
Equally de­light­ful is the outdoor space on the holiday home’s 2,610 m² natural plot. The covered terrace is an ideal place to relax in a com­fortab­le garden chair or enjoy an outdoor summer dinner, but you may also prefer one of the other sun-drenched spots in the secluded garden.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is situated on a quiet road in Ve­ster­he­de, a scenic area centrally located on Rømø, so you have short distances to both the east and west coasts and just 2.5 ki­lo­me­ters to Havneby at the southern end of the Wadden Sea island. In Havneby, you can dine at re­stau­rants, rent bicycles, play golf, and take the ferry to the neig­h­bor­ing German island of Sylt for a day trip. If you need to shop, there is a su­per­mar­ket in Havneby, but even closer you also have a popular bakery and a grocery store. And if you feel like a walk in forested sur­ro­un­dings, Vråby Plan­ta­tion is quite near the house. If you cross the plan­ta­tion, you won’t be far from Sønder­strand, where you can swim in the North Sea and enjoy beach sailing and other forms of wind sports on the wide sandy beach.
