Description
How would you prefer to spend your holiday? In this lovely summer house, you have the option to relax indoors near the wood-burning stove as well as outside on the natural plot, which is equipped with both a sun terrace and child-friendly play facilities. The surroundings are also excellent, as the house is located near Vråby tree plantation, the village of Havneby, and the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. So, in any case, it is a good starting point for a lovely and relaxing holiday.
Welcome inside
The summer house is a classic model with a thatched roof, blending beautifully with Rømø's stunning natural surroundings. Both inside and out, the house appears neat and well-maintained, having been renovated in 2021 – which is evident in the ground floor's bathroom and the toilet on the first floor, both furnished with modern interiors. In classic style, there is a sauna in the bathroom, which is a lovely detail, allowing you to completely unwind in the warmth after a day of excursions. Cozy moments can also take place in the living room, which is a delightful gathering space with a wood-burning stove and an open kitchen. There are three bedrooms: one with a double bed on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor, each furnished with a double bed and a single bed, providing space for a total of eight guests in the house.
Enjoy life outside
From one of the first-floor bedrooms, you have direct access to a covered balcony. It faces south, just like the paved terrace on the natural plot, where you have plenty of space to enjoy the sun and summer life with a grill, cool drinks, and maybe a relaxing siesta in the sun loungers. Next to the terrace is a wonderful play area where children can play in the sandpit, jump on the trampoline, and swing. For the youngest guests, it's also fun to explore the surroundings among the trees that beautifully surround the 2.500 m² natural plot.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is located in beautiful Vesterhede, providing a great base for exploring nature. For example, you can walk to Vråby tree plantation and Stagebjerg, which is one of Rømø’s beautiful viewpoints, and a bit farther away is Sønderstrand beach by the North Sea, which is definitely worth a visit. If you prefer to experience nature on horseback, you are close to an Icelandic horse center that offers riding tours around Rømø. If you feel like a good meal, there are several excellent dining options nearby, with Hotel Kommandørgården being the closest; its restaurant offers a popular fish buffet every Friday evening. Additionally, the house is just 2.5 kilometers from the village of Havneby, where you can shop, rent bikes, play golf, and take the ferry to the neighboring island of Sylt.
