The view over the Wadden Sea is reason enough to spend your holiday here at Sønder Frankel 34 in Havneby. At the same time, the summer house is incredibly well-appointed, providing you with a wonderful setting for your holiday life.
Welcome inside
The holiday home is a semi-detached house with two floors, plus a loft space at the top that offers two extra sleeping places. Together with the six sleeping places spread across three bedrooms, the house can accommodate eight guests, so you can easily invite friends or family along for the vacation. There are two bathrooms, of which both are bright and modernly decorated, like the rest of the rooms in the house. The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a sauna, while the bathroom on the first floor features a luxurious whirlpool that is positioned to provide a view to the Wadden Sea. The scenic panoramic view can also be enjoyed while relaxing in the large living area on the ground floor—from both the open kitchen and the dining area by the sunny bay window. The room is also furnished with a lovely sofa area, and there is underfloor heating and a wood stove, allowing you to use the house year-round.
Enjoy life outside
On warm summer days, the sun will do its best to tempt you outdoors. You have two terraces to choose from, of which one is fully enclosed. Both are equipped with comfortable garden furniture—and from both, you can gaze out over the salt marsh and Listerdyb, where the ferry to Sylt sails by.
Get up close to the local attractions
The Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, so you have a unique and magnificent natural view from the terraces. If you want to get even closer, you can stroll along the top of Havneby Dike all the way down to the water—or you can join a guided Wadden Sea expedition to explore the seabed or even collect oysters for dinner. If you prefer to have your meals served, there are plenty of dining options in Havneby. There is also a supermarket and fish shop in the town, all within convenient walking distance from the house. If you feel like taking a boat trip, you can take the ferry for a day trip to Sylt, or you can spend some vacation days at Lakolk beach, where you can swim in the North Sea and play on the wide sandy beach.
