You can look forward to enjoying your holiday here at Strandskaden 10 in the southern part of Rømø. You will be living close to the beautiful Sønderstrand, Vråby tree plantation, the Wadden Sea, and the village of Havneby - in a charming wooden summer house on a large and secluded nature plot.
Welcome inside
The summer house has been here since 1992, built in a beautiful and classic style with a solid wooden facade and white-paned windows. Inside, the atmosphere is excellent: it’s a place where you quickly can feel at home and truly experience the calm of the holiday as you enjoy cooking in the open kitchen, play board games, relax in the living room, and sleep long in the three bedrooms. All rooms are bright and nicely decorated—even the bathroom, which is equipped with a washing machine, so you can refresh your holiday wardrobe if you haven’t packed enough shorts and summer dresses.
Enjoy life outside
The nature plot measures 2.800 m², providing ample space to play on the lawn and sunbathe on the large wooden terrace that wraps around two sides of the summer house. Outdoor life can take place quite privately, thanks to the pine trees on the plot, which also offer some shelter if it gets windy. The car will also have good conditions, as it can be parked in the carport.
Get up close to the local attractions
The small road Strandskaden is located in the cozy summer house area of Sønderstrand, which, as the name suggests, is close to the beautiful sandy beach of the same name. Sønderstrand is known as one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches, making it a great spot for trying wind sports like blokarting and kite buggying. Horse enthusiasts can enjoy rides along the shore, as there are several riding centers in the area, while birdwatchers can bring out their binoculars to admire the diverse birdlife at the bird reservation Stormengene by the Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, providing you with a truly unique setting for your holiday walks and runs. When it’s time to shop, there is a short distance to the supermarket in Havneby, which also offers several restaurants and a fish shop.
