Description
There is plenty of reason to expect that your holiday will be a truly delightful experience when it unfolds in this thatched summer house in Toftum. The house is charmingly decorated and features many sweet details—including a hot tub and an outdoor sauna on the large nature plot.
Welcome inside
It’s not just outdoors that wellness facilities are available; the summer house’s large bathroom is equipped with a lovely spa bath. If you need to relax, it also feels rejuvenating to take it easy in the well-furnished living room—for example, when the wood stove is lit, and the scent of freshly baked rolls wafts from the open kitchen. All rooms are bright and inviting, ensuring that your nights will be spent in pleasant surroundings. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, while two are located on the first floor, where you will also find a guest toilet and a hallway with an extra bed.
Enjoy life outside
When the weather calls for outdoor activities, you can spend the entire day in the fresh air. You can take your morning shower in the outdoor shower, and afterward, enjoy coffee on the wooden terrace. If the weather turns, and you need some extra warmth, it’s fantastic to have free access to both the hot tub and sauna in the wellness area on the terrace. The plot is large, and both children and dogs can thrive here in the scenic and secluded surroundings. Among the trees, you will find a shelter that can be used for play during the day, as well as for overnight stays if you dream of waking up to the sound of birds singing and the breeze rustling through the trees.
Get up close to the local attractions
Toftum is a lovely place to vacation. The summer house area is small and quiet, with paths and small roads making it easy to venture into the beautiful landscape that adorns the northern part of Rømø. If you lace up your running or hiking shoes, you can explore the heath-clad expanses of Bolilmark, climb Høstbjerg, and continue into Tvismark Plantation. It’s also worthwhile to visit Kommandørgården, as you are less than a kilometer from this lovely museum—here, you can see a real sperm whale skeleton in the barn and enjoy cake in the small café. A swim in the North Sea from Lakolk Beach might also be tempting, and if you rent a bike in Havneby, you can look forward to exploring the entire Wadden Sea island on two wheels.
