Welcome inside
The holiday property, built over two levels, is located in a lovely apartment complex from 2009 called Skansen. Inside, you can spread out over 124 m² divided between the two floors. The layout is well thought out, with a bathroom on both levels, while the three bedrooms are grouped on the first floor. On the ground floor, most of the space is dedicated to the aforementioned living area, where the kitchen is integrated with the living room. High windows allow for abundant natural light to flow in from the east and west, and the good ceiling height contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. As a practical detail, there is also a utility room with laundry facilities on the ground floor, so you can refresh your wardrobe during your holiday.
Enjoy life outside
On both floors, you can step directly outside. On the ground floor, you can settle down on the east-facing terrace or the west-facing balcony, where you can look down at Havneby’s charming square. If you prefer to enjoy the harbor view from above, you should choose the east-facing balcony on the first floor.
Get up close to the local attractions
Skansen is a great choice if you want to stay centrally while being close to beautiful nature – you just have to stroll down to the harbor if you want to take a closer look at the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Around Havneby’s square, you will find a well-stocked supermarket and bike rental, along with several good dining options nearby. At the harbor, there is a fish shop if you want to cook yourself, and this is also where the ferry departs to Sylt if you want to take a day trip to the German island. Additionally, the local golf club and a wellness center are just a few hundred meters from the house, as well as Rømø’s Play and Maze Park, which offers family-friendly activities.
