The holiday home is specifically a townhouse located in the second row from the water. The plot is sloped, which means that the sea view is revealed from your living area, which consists of a living room with an integrated kitchen section. The decor in this living area is neat, bright, and simple, and as a practical detail, the sofa is a double sofa bed, allowing it to serve as a sleeping space for two people at night. The bedroom also makes good use of space, as it features two single beds, while the house’s bathroom is bright and functional.
Enjoy life outside
If you are on holiday during the summer, you might prefer to spend most of the day outdoors. In that case, you will appreciate the house’s two terraces, which allow you to choose the best spot to relax depending on the direction of the sun. The east-facing terrace is the perfect choice if you want to soak in the view of the Wadden Sea, while the west-facing terrace is ideal as the day comes to an end.
Get up close to the local attractions
The Wadden Sea is a unique marsh and tidal area that was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2014. From the house, you can walk straight down to the coast if you want to take a closer look at the spectacular landscape and the rich bird life – unless you prefer to join a guided Wadden Sea tour, for which several different options are arranged on Rømø. For shopping, it is just a few hundred meters to Havneby’s supermarket and fish shops – and you might be tempted to stop at one of the town’s restaurants. There is also a golf course, wellness services, and bike rentals in the town, offering something for both the active and the more relaxed holidaymakers. If you feel like a swim in the North Sea, it is recommended to drive across the island to Sønderstrand or Lakolk Beach on the west coast.
