On a small, closed road near the Wadden Sea, you'll find this lovely quality house. It is the perfect base for playful children of all ages: there is an activity room in the annex, and on the large ground, you’ll find a beach volleyball court, play facilities, a fire pit, and much more.
Welcome inside
The holiday home, built in 2004, is a well-appointed example featuring an optimal layout for eight guests. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, evenly distributed at each end of the house. One of the bathrooms is luxuriously equipped with a spa and sauna, allowing you to indulge in complete wellness relaxation. A practical utility room is also part of the layout, and finally, there is the living area, consisting of a kitchen and living room in an open connection. Here is a flow of natural light and a wood stove that contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. If the mood leans more towards play than relaxation, you can take your socializing to the annex, where you can play table tennis and foosball.
Enjoy life outside
There are plenty of play and activity options outside as well. Here you’ll find a trampoline, swing, and sandpit for the youngest guests, along with a sports field with goals and a beach volleyball court for the whole family. The fire pit is a lovely place to gather as the day winds down and darkness settles over Rømø. Outdoor life can also be enjoyed on the large partially covered terrace, where you can admire the scenic views and peaceful surroundings.
Get up close to the local attractions
The holiday home is located at the end of a quiet road, very close to the Wadden Sea – which you can also see from the terrace. The Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and lends its name to the local national park, which is also Denmark's largest. All in all, the natural surroundings here on Rømø are exceptionally beautiful, where you can explore the plantations and hike through the heather-clad landscape. If you feel like a swim, it is recommended to head to Lakolk beach, which is a wide sandy beach on the island's west side.
