Description
Wonderful natural surroundings, classic summer house charm, and modern improvements that make holiday life extra comfortable. This lovely triplicity is found in this newly renovated summer house, making it the ideal choice when you want to relax and enjoy life at a leisurely pace.
Welcome inside
The black-painted wooden summer house has stood here in the beautiful nature of the Sønderstrand area since 1966. The house’s original charm and special atmosphere are still visible and felt, and several good improvements have also been made – most recently in 2019 when it was updated. Modern conveniences include Wi-Fi, a heat pump, a flat-screen TV, and a dishwasher; there is even underfloor heating in the bathroom. In addition to the bathroom, the layout consists of two good bedrooms and a lovely living room with an integrated kitchen area. Everywhere, the views are beautiful, but perhaps the most stunning views are found in the living room, where the large windows give you an unobstructed view of the winding pine trees and small heather hills of the undulating natural plot.
Enjoy life outside
Part of the 2,500 m² large natural plot is enclosed – which is especially a plus for dog owners. The peaceful and beautiful surroundings will likely delight everyone, as you can truly feel the holiday tranquility when you lean back in the garden furniture after a sun-drenched lunch on the terrace.
Get up close to the local attractions
Heather-covered moors, dense forests, and kilometer-wide sandy beaches. Rømø’s nature is beautiful and varied, and thanks to the good location in the Sønderstrand area, there is a short walk to all its delights. For example, the Vråby tree plantation is quite close, and it's about 1.2 kilometers to the beach Sønderstrand itself, which impresses with its wide expanses and white sand. The Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is definitely worth exploring as well – for instance, you can take a guided tour that allows you to walk out to the oyster banks to collect oysters. From Rømø Golf Club’s 18-hole links course, you have views to the sea, and from the quay in Havneby, you can watch the fishing boats return with their daily catch. From Havneby, it is also possible to take the ferry for a pleasant outing to the neighboring island of Sylt.
