Charming, original and cosy half-timbered house, located in the scenic Geopark Odsherred and close to the best sandy beach in the area.
This house invites to a holiday with everything from relaxation, bathing, sports, nature and walks to sightseeing in the lovely Rørvig
and surroundings.
Interior
The house contains a very cosy and good size living room with wood burner and TV. From here you have a nice view to the charming garden, where the deer and crossing regularly. There are 4 good bedrooms with 2 bunk beds x 2 bunk beds and 2 double beds respectively plus good storage. The kitchen is separate and is equipped with a dishwasher. From the kitchen window you can serve the afternoon coffee directly to the cosy patio terrace. The house also contains a bathroom with shower plus a toilet opposite it with access from the hallway.
Of the two terraces, one is covered, and in the garden you have deck chairs, a bonfire dish and a swing. All together a genuine bohemian house that invites to togetherness and relaxation in an original environment. Do not forget to use the outdoor shower of the house after a lovely day on the beach.
The area / location
The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 400m via a bicycle path from a perfect sandy beach. The area is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting sights and fantastic adventure-routes in the unique landscape. Like a walk to Skansehage or around the idyllic Dybesø Lake. At the harbour in Rørvig, the children can fish crabs, while you shop for fresh fish, and you can take the small cosy ferry to Hundested. Rørvig offers many really good restaurants, and during summer, the popular flee market takes place every Sunday morning. In Nykøbing Sjælland there is excellent shopping with several independent shops selling local produce and art works. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with the workshop GlasSpiren for the children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region are certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day at the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland which has been elected Denmark’s best activity for children.
Do not forget to taste the locally produced food and wines and visit the farm shops in the beautiful landscape. Also find the exciting museums, such as Malergaarden, the home of the artist family Swane. You can also visit the finding place for the Sun Chariot with the beautiful gates and enjoy a walk in the area. All in all a fantastic area that will fascinate you.
