Description
Just 500 meters from the beach of Sønderstrand, you will find this cozy summer house, which is located on a large nature plot with a nice garden pavilion.
Welcome inside
A successful renovation in 2006 is not the only improvement that has taken place at this address. The summer house has also been expanded, so today you can spread out in 110 neat and well-maintained square meters. The decor style is bright and friendly, and the open-plan layout in the living area works wonderfully: The kitchen is integrated with a lovely living room featuring a fireplace, seating area, and dining table, and from here, you proceed to another living area with large windows offering a view and direct access to the terrace. An important detail of the layout is that the entrance hall also functions as one of the house's three bedrooms. All three rooms are furnished with double beds, while the bathroom is equipped with a shower and a washing machine, among other amenities.
Enjoy life outside
On the 2,750 m² large nature plot, there are play equipment and plenty of space to roam on the lawn, and there are several terraces to choose from if you prefer a laid-back break in the sun. If it’s too chilly to sit outside, the garden pavilion is a lovely place to relax – for example, on a sunny spring day or on bright summer evenings.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is located at the outer edge of the Sønderstrand area, so you just have to pass through an open landscape before your feet are in the white sand. Sønderstrand is kilometers wide – indeed, one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches – and precisely for this reason, there are good opportunities for various forms of wind sports here. You can also drive right down to the water if you don’t feel like walking when you want to swim or wade in the North Sea. If the weather invites more to an indoor swimming experience, then as a guest in the summer house, you have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret on the mainland. If you’ve already driven over the dam, you might also continue your trip to the old market town of Ribe. Otherwise, you can take the trip back to Rømø to play golf, go horseback riding, or try some of the other holiday activities on the beautiful Wadden Sea island.
