This nicely renovated brick house is beau­ti­ful­ly situated in an open landscape near both the village of Havneby and Sønder­strand beach. On the enclosed terrace, equipped with a hot tub, you can enjoy the tranqui­li­ty and scenic sur­ro­un­dings – and if you’d like to share your holiday ex­pe­ri­en­ce with your horse or pony, there is a fenced grass pasture next to the house.

Welcome inside
The 98 m² large cottage was renovated in 2010, giving it a cozy and bright interior with modern amenities and a well-designed layout. The kitchen and living room are combined, with a built-in fireplace centrally located in the room, allowing you to enjoy the warmth and sight of the flames while relaxing in the sitting area. There is also a heat pump and a flat-screen TV with Chro­mecast available, and in the well-equipped kitchen, you have eve­ryt­hing you need to cook – including a dis­hwas­her that makes cleaning up after meals easy. A spacious bathroom with a shower and washing machine is also part of the layout, and finally, there are four good bedrooms that can ac­com­moda­te a total of eight people.

Enjoy life outside
To the south and west of the cottage, a large tiled terrace spreads out. The shielding makes it easy to find a sheltered spot, and you even have the op­portu­ni­ty to jump into a lovely hot tub when re­laxa­tion and wellness are on the agenda. From the terrace, you have a view of the enclosed horse pasture, which makes up a large part of the house's 8,000 m² plot. The grass pasture is sur­ro­un­ded by electric fencing, and water is available – however, please note that there is no shelter, and you will need to bring hay, etc. for the horse.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Rømø is a wonderful place to explore on horseback. For example, it is possible to ride on the beautiful and in­cre­di­bly wide Sønder­strand beach, which is just a couple of ki­lo­me­ters away, and there are marked riding trails in both Vråby tree plan­ta­tion and Kirkeby tree plan­ta­tion. If you don't have your own horse, there are several riding centers on the island – and if you’d prefer to ex­pe­ri­en­ce nature on foot or by bike, that is, of course, also an option. A dip in the North Sea, an oyster safari in the Wadden Sea, or a round of golf can easily be on the agenda, and in the cozy village of Havneby, you can dine out and quickly take care of your shopping at the su­per­mar­ket and the local fish shop.
