Cozy and well-main­tai­ned summer house in pi­c­tu­resque Kromose

"Erika" is the name of this cozy summer house located on a large and secluded natural plot in Kromose near the Wadden Sea and the east coast of Rømø.

Welcome inside
The summer house has stood in this pi­c­tu­resque setting since 1968, but much has happened in the meantime. It has been carefully main­tai­ned and mo­der­nized over the years – among other things, it has been upgraded with a beautiful bathroom with un­der­floor heating, com­fortab­le beds, and good storage space. Inside, the 74 m² is rea­so­nably di­stri­bu­ted over three bedrooms, the afore­men­tio­ned bathroom, and a lovely living area with an open kitchen and living room. Here you can truly enjoy yourself on the sofas and perhaps light the wood stove if it’s cool outside. If you need good en­tertain­ment, there are 30 channels to surf through on the flat-screen TV, unless you just want to enjoy the green view through the large living room windows.

Enjoy life outside
When the sun calls you outside, you can enjoy life on the summer house’s sheltered terraces. If the weather isn’t right for sitting out in the open, you can settle on the 25 m² terrace, which is covered with a thermal roof and equipped with glass shielding to the west. It’s wonderful to sit here – for example, on a sunny spring day or a bright summer evening. On the large, hilly natural plot, you can also sit on the benches at the heather-clad top to enjoy the view towards the Wadden Sea.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Kromose is a lovely place to vacation if you enjoy beautiful nature and peaceful sur­ro­un­dings. From the summer house, it’s only a few hundred meters to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it’s also not far to Kirkeby Plan­ta­tion and the beautiful viewpoint Spids­b­jerg. The lovely beaches on Rømø's west coast – Lakolk Strand and Sønder­strand – are de­light­ful desti­na­tions by car or bike when you want to swim in the North Sea or just take a walk on the wide sandy beach. If you haven't brought your own bikes, you can rent eve­ryt­hing from tandem bikes to mountain bikes in Havneby, where you will also find a su­per­mar­ket, a fish shop, several re­stau­rants, and a golf course. From Havneby, you can also take the ferry to the neig­h­bor­ing island of Sylt if you feel like a boat trip and a little excursion away from Rømø.
