Description
The view is excellent in this fine holiday home, which is part of West Apartments near Havneby. From the living room and one of the terraces, you can gaze directly out over the Wadden Sea, which stretches approximately 100 meters from the house.
Welcome inside
The townhouse is situated directly by the water, which is why the view from the living room is so brilliant. The living area's window section spans from wall to wall, allowing you to make the most of the beautiful natural surroundings, and it obviously optimizes the influx of light. The furnishings in the living room are cozy: Here, you have a dining table for four, soft seating, and a well-equipped kitchen area where you can prepare delicious holiday meals. The sofa is actually a double sofa bed, which is a nice supplement to the bedroom’s double bed. A nice bathroom with a good shower cubicle is also part of the layout in the beautifully renovated townhouse.
Enjoy life outside
Outside, you have two terraces at your disposal: One is west-facing, while the other faces east and looks directly out towards the Wadden Sea. This makes it easy to always find a lovely sunny spot – and if you desire shade, there's the option to use the awning on the west terrace. From the east terrace, you have direct access to a grassy communal area, which also features a sandbox for the youngest holiday guests.
Get up close to the local attractions
The communal area leads directly down to the Wadden Sea, which is a unique marsh and tidal area that is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. When the tide is low, you can walk out to collect oysters or explore the seabed – but if you are not familiar with the tides, it is recommended to join a guided tour, of which many are organized on Rømø. Just south of the townhouse lies Havneby, where you can shop at the supermarket and be tempted by Rømø shrimp and other delicacies in the fish shops. There are also restaurants, a golf course, wellness services, and bike rentals in the town, and from the harbor, you can take the ferry for a day trip to the German holiday island of Sylt.
