Lovely summer house with a fantastic view over the dune landscape

Your vacation will take place in peaceful and scenic sur­ro­un­dings when you spend it in this cozy summer house. Here, you live at the end of a small road with a view over the open dune landscape – in other words, as close to Lakolk Beach as you can possibly get.

Welcome inside
The summer house has been here among the marram grass-clad dunes since 1950, and since then, it has been well-main­tai­ned and updated. The furniture has been carefully selected to fit well into the charming rooms of the brick property, and the beautiful view revealed through the sash windows certainly helps to enhance the ambiance. The living room and kitchen are connected in an open plan, creating a lovely living space filled with light, a wood stove, and a cozy at­mosp­he­re. The suc­ces­sful layout also includes two bedrooms, both equipped with double beds – and in one of the bedrooms, there is a bunk bed above the double bed. In addition to a toilet and shower, the bathroom features a washing machine, so you can freshen up your wardrobe if you spill ice cream on your summer dress.

Enjoy life outside
Around the summer house, there are several tiled terraces as well as a 32 square meter terrace, making it easy to find a place to enjoy the sunshine. The view is espe­ci­al­ly im­pres­si­ve if you sit on the southern or western side of the house, but the eastern terrace is also recom­men­ded, providing a lovely sheltered nook with a fence for privacy.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
With such a location, it’s only fitting to make a beach trip a recurring event every vacation day. From the house, you can follow the paths and take a short stroll through the dunes to Lakolk Beach, which is a beautiful and im­pres­si­ve­ly wide sandy beach. Here, there is plenty of space for walking, swimming, windsur­fing, and flying kites, and you can even drive right down to the North Sea if you prefer. If not all your time is to be spent here or in the nearby Lakolk Shopping Center, there is much more to ex­pe­ri­en­ce on Rømø. The island boasts beautiful plan­ta­tions, expansive heathland, good dining options, a mini-golf course, several riding centers, and much more. And of course, it’s natural to take a closer look at the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique tidal area.
