Description
This lovely summer house is the perfect choice if you dream of spending your holiday in Rømø’s beautiful nature – close to the Wadden Sea, the expansive Sønderstrand, and Rømø Golf Club.
Welcome inside
This is a classic wooden summer house from 1974, with 72 m² distributed across three bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a corner living room. With raw wooden walls and a vaulted ceiling, the summer house has fortunately been allowed to retain its original charm while being updated with modern conveniences such as WiFi, a heat pump, and a dishwasher. From all rooms, you can enjoy the view of the green trees on the nature plot – yes, while you sit with your morning coffee or relax on the sofa near the wood stove, you might even spot a couple of deer or a pheasant visiting outside.
Enjoy life outside
The summer house is situated on a beautiful nature plot of 2.900 m², allowing you to enjoy the terraces in complete privacy. The two terraces are oriented respectively to the east and west, and one is even partially covered – so you always can find a suitable spot to relax. Whether you spend the whole day here or take small and large excursions, you can end your summer day with a cozy barbecue evening while the birds sing their evening song and the sun sets over Rømø.
Get up close to the local attractions
Rømø’s southern end is an excellent place to stay for golfers, bird enthusiasts, beach lovers, and many more. The beautiful 18-hole links course at Rømø Golf Club is very close to the summer house, and adjacent to it lies the bird reserve Stormengene. If you want to go hiking, you can follow the dike all the way down to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site as a unique marshland and tidal area. Continuing west, you’ll quickly reach Sønderstrand, which is considered one of Europe’s widest sandy beaches. If you crave a good meal, you can head to one of the delightful eateries in Havneby – where you can also shop at the supermarket and fish shop when you want to cook for yourself. A boat trip is also on offer during your holiday, as the ferry regularly sails from Havneby between Rømø and the neighboring German island of Sylt.
