Description
This summer house is full of charm and a cozy atmosphere, and it is situated in picturesque surroundings right next to an open field area. The lovely sun courtyard is also a plus, as it adds sweetness to the holiday life here in Kongsmark.
Welcome inside
The thatch-roofed summer house has stood amid the greenery since 1968 and has been continually renovated since then. The latest update occurred in 2020, so it appears neat and inviting both on the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor, you can enjoy the living area, which consists of an open-plan living room and kitchen. This atmospheric space is furnished with a lovely kitchen, dining table, comfortable seating, and a wood-burning stove, and it also features an air-source heat pump that can both cool and heat depending on your needs. On cold days, you can also make use of the sauna, which is part of the ground floor's layout. A renovated bathroom from 2020 and a bedroom with a single bed are also located here, while the first floor offers a toilet and two bedrooms with a total of four sleeping spaces.
Enjoy life outside
From the largest of the first floor's bedrooms, you have direct access to a west-facing terrace, allowing you to easily step outside for fresh air and check the weather conditions right from the morning. Outdoor living can also take place in the enclosed, partially covered sun courtyard, which is sheltered by masonry on all sides. The natural plot is quite large, so you can easily find a cozy nook on the lawn where you can enjoy the green and peaceful surroundings. There's also an opportunity to play pétanque, as the house has its own court.
Get up close to the local attractions
Kongsmark is a lovely place to spend your holiday, as you are close to beautiful plantations, open heath landscapes, and not least the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The family-friendly bathing beach at Lakolk is only a few kilometers away, so the trip can easily be made by car or bike, especially if the sunny weather invites a dip in the North Sea. If you would like expert guidance when venturing into nature, you can join a guided excursion with Nature Center Tønnisgård, which organizes oyster tours, seal safaris, and much more.
