Description
You can easily invite the entire family or your good friends to vacation here in this fantastic summer house in Kongsmark, which can comfortably accommodate 11 holiday guests.
Welcome inside
Bright, simple, and inviting—that's a brief description of the interior of the summer house, which was built in 2008. Even though there are a full 132 m2 to spread out in, the classic summer house atmosphere remains top-notch, as details like light wooden walls and a vaulted ceiling give the spaces a particularly cozy touch. Thanks to the large windows, you can enjoy natural light and views of the green garden, even while cozying up indoors near the living room’s wood-burning stove. The living room is a lovely gathering space with an integrated kitchen area, a long table, comfortable seating, a loft, and even two alcoves. The latter can serve as additional sleeping areas for the summer house’s four good bedrooms if you have a larger group. On the practical side, it’s nice to have two bathrooms in the house—one of which features a spa and sauna.
Enjoy life outside
There is plenty of space to play and relax outdoors on the 2,500 m2 secluded plot, which is bordered by beautiful trees on all sides. For the youngest guests, there is a sandbox and swing set, and the lawn is perfect for ball games, with goals available. The large, partially covered tiled terrace that wraps around the south, east, and west sides of the summer house will likely be used mainly for relaxed lounging, sunbathing, and enjoying summer meals around the garden tables.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is nicely set back from the road, which has limited traffic. If you feel like a hike, it’s not far to Kirkeby Plantation, from where you can continue to the viewpoint Spidsbjerg and look out over the open heath landscape. It’s also recommended to head to the coast to explore the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site— for example, you can participate in a guided oyster tour, which is a popular holiday activity. A dip in the North Sea at Lakolk Strand is wonderful on a warm summer day, and regardless of the weather, it’s nice to swim at the water park at Skærbækcentret. As holiday guests in the summer house, you have free access to the water park, so it’s a great idea to pack your swimwear and take a trip across the Rømø dam to the mainland.
