In one of our very best holiday house areas in the Trolle forest between Nykøbing and Rørvig, close to Kattegat and the Sandflugtsplantagen forest, you find a gem of a holiday house named Trolle. Here you have space for the large family and plenty of room for activities inside as well as outside, and here you may relax and let yourselves go, close to everything: the beach, the forest, the town and the many attractions in Odsherred.
Welcome inside
The holiday house is inviting and well suited for a vacation all year round, for when the temperature drops and the wind is blowing, you can warm yourself in the sauna and by the wood burner. From the cosy and spacious living room you have a view of the scenic nature plot, and if the children want to play by themselves, that is also possible in this roomy house.
Enjoy life outside
You are in the middle of nature, surrounded by tall pine trees and deciduous trees on the huge nature plot, and on the terrace you may enjoy the silence and the heat of the sun all through the day, sunbathe after your swim in Kattegat and consume all meals on a summer’s day. It is always possible to find a sheltered space with shade on the plot for your afternoon nap, and there is also room for games and play.
Get close to the local attractions
Odsherred has something to offer for every season, and if you are here out of high season, you can follow the course of nature at close range. In Feriepartner Odsherred we recommend that you explore the Sandflugtsplantagen forest close to the holiday house, for here you have an abundance of good walking routes, jogging trails and bicycle tours. And right on the other side of the forest you find one of the best beaches in Denmark. Towards east you have the beautiful, exciting and protected nature areas Korshage and Skansehage with a view to Hundested and the coastline of North Zealand by the mouth of the Isefjord into Kattegat, and everywhere there is a versatile animal and bird life.
In spring you can follow the first migratory birds from Korshage, and in the sun you may find grass snakes and adders in the heather. Summer life unfolds by the beach, where a daily swim in Kattegat becomes an indispensable elixir of life. Late summer you may experience the dune heath bloom in lilac colours, and time has come to pick blackberries and collect wild mushrooms. Nearing the Christmas month it is time to find cones and moss and lichen for the Christmas decorations. You can also follow the versatile and exciting bird life all year round from the bird sanctuary Hov Vig, where you may be lucky to spot white-tailed eagles.
Town life is just around the corner in the market town Nykøbing and in the charming village Rørvig, where the summer makes it a magnet buzzing with life, whereas the quiet of winter is a contrast that invites to cosy walks in the village with the beautiful yellow houses by the Isefjord.
