The kitchen is efficiently integrated with the living room—so while you’re watching a movie in the sofa area or playing cards at the dining table, it’s easy to check if the lasagna in the oven is ready.
Enjoy life outside
From the living room, you have direct access to a large, partially covered terrace. It faces west, is sunny, and is equipped with comfortable garden furniture and a grill—and as an extra bonus, you have view to the Wadden Sea from here. If there are children with you on holiday, they can easily walk over to the playground located on the grassy area right next door while you relax and enjoy the laid-back holiday atmosphere.
Get up close to the local attractions
If you want to keep the whole family active, there’s a table tennis table and a pétanque court on the grassy area, as well as free access to a tennis court and an artificial turf field for soccer and basketball. If you enjoy golfing, it’s just a few hundred meters to Rømø Golf Club, where you can play a round on the beautiful 18-hole links course. The golf course is situated right by the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the world’s most important wetland areas. The natural surroundings here on Rømø are very impressive: for example, can you visit Sønderstrand to fly kites on the wide sandy beach and swim in the North Sea. You can also go to Høstbjerg, Rømø’s highest point, which is a perfect spot to enjoy views over the island.
