The holiday home and its location come together beautifully here at Thulevej 3 in the heart of Rømø. The atmosphere is delightful both in the summer house and on the surrounding natural plot, and Kongsmark’s beautiful and peaceful environment contributes to the idyllic overall impression.
Welcome inside
The cozy wooden summer house, measuring 84 m², was renovated in 2021, which is evident in the lovely and spacious kitchen area that makes up one end of the living space. At the other end of the room, there is a sofa, wood-burning stove, and flat-screen TV, creating a setting for plenty of cozy moments in comfortable surroundings. A nice bathroom with a shower and washing machine is also part of the layout, and finally, there are three bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two each with two single beds.
Enjoy life outside
You can enjoy the view of the 2600 m² natural plot from inside the summer house, and as you step out onto the terrace, all your senses will be awakened. The air carries the scent of heather and other wild vegetation while the birds chirp from the treetops, and whether you feel a gentle breeze or the sun's warming rays, it's easy to find a great spot to relax. There are several seating areas to choose from, including a partially covered wooden terrace, and for the children, there are swings and a sandbox.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is situated quite privately on the small Thulevej, centrally located on Rømø. The wildlife is abundant, and the natural surroundings are beautiful here on the island, which lies in the heart of the Wadden Sea, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Depending on the season, you can go on oyster tours, catch shrimp, and swim at Lakolk Beach, and if you enjoy having some speed and wind in your hair, you can try kite buggying and other forms of wind sports at Sønderstrand. If you are on holiday with children, there is a fun forest playground in Kirkeby Plantation, which also invites lovely walks – for example, to Spidsbjerg, Rømø’s highest point.
