There is also much to say about the holiday home itself, as it is a particularly charming example with a red wooden facade, white shutters, and a thatched roof. Indoors, the good impression continues in the open-plan living space that consists of the kitchen and living room. With vaulted ceilings, untreated wood paneling, and a wood stove, the room is exactly what one would expect from a classic summer house, making it the perfect backdrop for family moments with good books, board games, cooking, and delicious meals at the dining table. You will find the same charming style in the bathroom and the three good bedrooms, which can accommodate four people in total. As a practical detail, there is both a freezer and a washing machine in the utility room.
Enjoy life outside
Just south of the holiday home, there is a large terrace on the 2510 m2 natural plot. The orientation makes the terrace a perfect place to enjoy the sun, and if a small summer shower should pass by, you can even move under the covered area. If you have small children with you on holiday, there is a swing set on the property, and there is plenty of space to play and kick a ball on the grass.
Get up close to the local attractions
The natural surroundings on Thadesvej are truly special, as the heath heather lights up with its purple flowers around the house, and to the north, you can look out over the flat landscape. In other words, there is plenty of sky and room for big gestures— and you get the same sensation when you are at the Juvre dyke, at the viewpoint Høstbjerg, or looking out over the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Furthermore, the holiday home is only a few kilometers from Lakolk Strand, where you can frolic in the North Sea and play on the incredibly wide sandy beach. Shopping opportunities, restaurants, and holiday facilities, including a golf course, riding centers, and bike rentals, can also be found around Rømø, so there is really no reason to leave the Wadden Sea island during your holiday.
