Description
If you dream of spending your holiday in a super cozy summer house on Rømø, then you have found the right place. Here, you will be staying on a large green plot in Kongsmark's peaceful and scenic surroundings.
Welcome inside
The thatched summer house has been at this address since 1969, and it is clear both inside and outside that it has been very well cared for. Inside, it appears bright and inviting thanks to excellent renovation projects – for instance, the ground floor offers a lovely living area with underfloor heating, a wood stove, and a nice integrated kitchen. On the same floor, you will also find two good bedrooms, a bathroom, and a utility room with a washing machine. If you go up to the first floor, you will reach a third bedroom, and in addition to the house's bathroom, there is an extra toilet and a sauna on this level. Last but not least, the first floor features a lovely living room where you can enjoy a good movie or an exciting book in the comfortable seating.
Enjoy life outside
On sunny days, you can move your reading, lunches, and other cozy moments outdoors. On the 2744 m² natural plot, you have two terraces to choose from, allowing you to assess the weather conditions before settling in the comfortable garden furniture. There is also a swing set on the property, and plenty of space to play on the lawn. If you get too warm from playing ball or sunbathing, you can refresh yourself in the outdoor shower.
Get up close to the local attractions
The summer house is nicely set back at the end of a small side road in scenic Kongsmark. The area is centrally located on Rømø, making it easy to explore all parts of this beautiful Wadden Sea island. The heather-covered heathlands in Bolilmark to the north, Lakolk Beach on the west coast, and Havneby to the south are all worth a visit, and to the east, you can head all the way to the coastline to gaze out over the Wadden Sea and towards the mainland. The Wadden Sea is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its rich bird life, so it's recommended to bring binoculars when you head out to the salt marshes.
