Welcome inside
The charming thatched holiday home was built in 1973, but it is clear from its well-maintained condition that much has happened in the meantime. Indoors, the modern kitchen in the living area provides a lovely setting for cooking, and thanks to the open floor plan, you can easily participate in family fun while stirring pots. The living room also features a wood stove and flat-screen TV, and the large windows allow for abundant natural light. The ground floor layout also includes a bathroom and a bedroom, and if you go upstairs, you will find two additional bedrooms. On the first floor, there is an infrared sauna installed, so you can treat yourself to a relaxing sauna session when you return home after a day of excursions and adventures.
Enjoy life outside
As soon as the sun shines, you will likely want to move your outdoor living to the terrace. It is sheltered by walls and fences, creating a secluded sunlit courtyard where you can sit completely out of the wind. The natural plot measures a full 2500 m2, so you have plenty of space to play garden games or lounge on a blanket on the lawn while enjoying the view of pine trees and purple heather.
Get up close to the local attractions
From the cozy and peaceful holiday home area, it is easy to access the beautiful natural surroundings that characterize the northern part of Rømø. Flat marshlands and beautiful heath landscapes invite long walks and bike rides, while the top of Høstbjerg makes visitors stop and admire the impressive view over Rømø and the Wadden Sea, the latter of which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A dip at Lakolk Strand may also tempt you, unless you prefer an indoor swimming experience. In that case, you can drive over the Rømø dam and into the mainland, as holiday guests in the house enjoy free access to the water park in Skærbæk Center.
