Description
Are you looking for a cozy and functional holiday home in beautiful natural surroundings? Then you should take a closer look at this lovely holiday house, which is situated on a delightful natural plot where you can enjoy a stunning view to the Wadden Sea.
Welcome inside
The holiday home is specifically an end townhouse, so there are neighbors only on one side. Indoors, behind the solid brick walls, the atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and the layout is well thought out, providing ample space for four people. The kitchen and living room are combined into an open living area, making it a perfect space for board games, relaxing on the sofa, cooking together, and enjoying good meals at the dining table. A spacious bathroom with a shower niche and two comfortable bedrooms are also part of the layout, and a staircase leads up to the house's loft. Here, you’ll find two extra beds, so the loft can serve as a sleeping area – unless the kids claim it as their own private cozy corner.
Enjoy life outside
From the living room, there is direct access to a partially covered tiled terrace. Here, you’ll find both sun loungers and garden furniture, as well as a grill for preparing summer evening meals outdoors. A fence shields the terrace from the neighbor, but otherwise, the shared natural plot is open, allowing you to gaze out over the salt marsh and the Wadden Sea from the lawn.
Get up close to the local attraction
It is a lovely experience to stay so close to the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site as one of the planet’s most important wetland areas. The natural surroundings are not only beautiful but also peaceful, allowing you to truly relax and enjoy the calm holiday life. If you don’t wish to remain at the holiday house and terrace, your days can be spent exploring Rømø's tree plantations, heathland and beautiful sandy beaches – for example, on horseback, as there is an Icelandic horse center quite close to the house. About a kilometer away is the village of Havneby, which offers a well-stocked supermarket, a fish shop, bike rental, a golf course and a good selection of restaurants. It is also from the harbor that you can take the ferry to List on the German holiday island of Sylt.
