New floors and new furniture have also been added, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the rooms that invites you to take your days at a relaxed pace. The house is located in the second row facing the coast, but due to the thoughtful architecture and the sloping plot, you can see the Wadden Sea through the living room's large east-facing window section.
Enjoy life outside
From the living room, you have direct access to a closed terrace that faces east, thus also looking out towards the Wadden Sea. It’s nice to enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the water and the high sky – imagine spending your holiday right next to a unique natural area that is even listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site! Later in the day, you can consider whether you want to relax on the west-facing terrace, which is also equipped with garden furniture. There is ample parking space by the townhouse, and to the east of the complex, a green communal area stretches out towards the coast.
Get up close to the local attractions
With such a location, it is only natural to take a closer look at the Wadden Sea, which changes appearance with the tide. As an introduction to the unique nature, you can join a guided tour – for example, an oyster safari, where you can wade out to collect oysters directly from the soft seabed. Another wonderful outing option is to cross the island to swim in the North Sea at Lakolk Beach or Sønderstrand. If you feel like a good meal, you can take the short trip to Havneby, which offers everything from an inn to a pancake house and, of course, a fishmonger. There is also a well-stocked supermarket in town if you prefer to prepare dinner at home in the summer house.
