Description
This quality summer house is beautifully furnished with a spa and sauna in one of the bathrooms, a wood-burning stove in the living room, and a sunlit terrace environment on the 1200 m² plot. As an added bonus, it is within a short walking distance from Lakolk Beach – so in short, it is a wonderful place to spend your holiday.
Welcome inside
Natural light pours in through the large windows of the summer house, contributing to the pleasant atmosphere indoors. This is especially true in the living area, where the ceiling is vaulted, the walls have light wooden paneling, and there is tasteful furniture, with the aforementioned wood-burning stove centrally placed for use on cool evenings. On a breezy autumn day, it is also wonderful to enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub and a visit to the sauna – for example, after a long walk at Lakolk Beach. The hot tub and sauna are installed in one of the house's two bathrooms, both of which are bright and simply furnished. Finally, the layout consists of three good bedrooms, two of which are equipped with double beds and one with two single beds.
Enjoy life outside
On the large plot of the summer house, there is plenty of space for playing and kicking a ball on the lawn, and for the youngest holiday guests, there is both a sandbox and a swing set. The whole family can enjoy the lovely terrace environment that spreads around several sides of the summer house. There are several covered areas on the terrace for when you need shade during the midday heat – and thanks to the shelter on the west-facing terrace, you can still find a cozy spot even on a day with a westerly wind.
Get up close to the local attractions
If you run out of milk for your coffee, it's convenient to be close to the supermarket in Lakolk Shopping Center. The location is also perfect if you're in the mood for an ice cream cone, as the center houses Café Fru Dax, which was awarded Denmark’s Best Ice Cream Parlor in 2019. Additionally, it’s great to be close to Lakolk Beach, where you can swim in the North Sea, windsurf, or even go horseback riding. There are also many other lovely experiences awaiting you on Rømø and at the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site for its unique tidal area. From Havneby, you can take a ferry trip to the neighboring island of Sylt. If you venture to the mainland, you also have free access to the fine water park at Skærbækcentret.
