The magnificent view over a protected natural area is reason enough to choose this summer house as your next holiday destination. There are many other good arguments as well, as the house itself is a lovely quality construction with a wonderful atmosphere – and even has a spa bath in one of the bathrooms.
Welcome inside
When the summer house was built in 2015, great emphasis was placed on adapting the architecture to the beautiful natural surroundings. In the living area, the east- and south-facing windows extend from floor to ceiling, allowing you to fully enjoy both the view and the daylight while lounging on the sofa, sitting around the dining table, or having fun cooking in the kitchen area. The stylish furnishings are kept in light colors, and there is a vaulted ceiling with acoustic panels that contribute to a great sense of space. Similarly, the summer house's bedrooms are cozily decorated – all three rooms feature comfortable double beds – while the two bathrooms offer a lovely setting for your morning shower. If you fancy a relaxing bubble bath after a day of outings, that is easily arranged, as there is a spa bath in the largest bathroom.
Enjoy life outside
When the summer sun is shining, you will likely want to spend your holiday days outdoors, and in that case, the 1200 m² large and secluded nature plot is perfect for the purpose. Ball games and other outdoor play can take place on the lawn, which also features swings and a sandbox for the youngest holiday guests. Furthermore, the wooden terrace that wraps around the house is a lovely place to grill, sunbathe, and enjoy holiday life in lounge chairs and garden furniture. Part of the terrace is covered, so even if a light summer shower passes by, you can stay outside and admire the natural surroundings.
Get up close to the local attractions
Since the summer house is set back from the road and right up against the open landscape, the idyllic holiday feeling is complete. It doesn't hurt that Lakolk Beach is nearby with its lovely swimming water and extensive beach areas. If you want to stroll to the water, you can follow the paths through the dune landscape, but it is also allowed to drive your car right down to the North Sea. You can find shopping, dining options, and delicious food at Lakolk Shopping Center, and if you venture a bit further, there are plenty of excursion opportunities and holiday activities on Rømø. For example, you can rent bicycles, go horseback riding, play golf, and explore the island's beautiful plantations and heath areas, and it’s a great idea to take a closer look at the Wadden Sea, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
