Description
Kongsmark in the heart of Rømø is a lovely place to spend your holiday – especially when it takes place in this exquisite summer house, which includes a sauna, an annex with an activity room, and a hot tub adjacent to the terrace area.
Welcome inside
The summer house is a charming building with a red brick facade and thatched roof, and the accompanying annex has the same delightful exterior. Both buildings have been nicely modernized indoors with white walls, vaulted ceilings, and a functional layout for a total of eight people. In the summer house, there is one bedroom on the ground floor, as well as one bedroom and an alcove on the first floor, while the annex offers a loft with extra sleeping space. Additionally, the annex includes a toilet with a washing machine and dryer, as well as an activity room with a ping-pong table – perfect for a quick two-player match or a round of fun as afternoon entertainment. If you need to unwind more, it’s convenient that there is a sauna in the summer house’s bathroom. The living room, which features an open kitchen, wood-burning stove, and a TV with Danish and German channels, is also a wonderful place to relax and enjoy holiday life.
Enjoy life outside
The setting for holiday life is also top-notch on the 2530 m² natural plot. Here, you can enjoy life on the lovely terrace, which serves as a sheltered and sunny oasis between the summer house and the annex. The terrace is equipped with everything you need in garden furniture, sun loungers, umbrellas, and a grill, and the outdoor shower and hot tub add to the luxurious feel. From the terrace, you have a view of the plot’s sandbox, swings, and play equipment, so there’s something for both children and adults at this address.
Get up close to the local attractions
Ivigtut is a small gravel road that ends near the summer house. To the west, a natural area extends all the way to Lakolk, and to the east, you are not far from Nature Center Tønnisgaard, which offers a good selection of activities and trips for both young and old. If you want to explore on your own, you can enjoy the view from the top of Høstbjerg, take a walk in Kirkeby Plantation, or head to Rømø’s west coast to experience the vast sandy beaches and the North Sea. An oyster safari in the Wadden Sea, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, is also a great excursion option – and if you’re up for indoor swimming, it’s recommended to take the scenic drive over the Rømø Dam, as you’ll have free access to the water park at Skærbækcentret on the mainland.
