Welcome inside
With such an exclusive location, great care was taken in the construction of the holiday home when it was built in 2005. Although the townhouses are a modern development, the style is in classic Rømø fashion with a red brick facade and thatched roof. Inside, you have 116 m² spread over one and a half floors, which includes three bedrooms and two complete bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a hot tub. Conveniently, the sleeping quarters and bathrooms are located on both the ground floor and the first floor, and as a supplement, there are two mattresses in the loft, allowing for a total of eight holiday guests indoors. Everyone can gather in the ground floor's kitchen and dining area, where you can enjoy the stunning view of the Wadden Sea – both while sitting around the dining table and while cooking in the kitchen area, which features an American fridge, dishwasher, and other lovely details. The sea view and cozy atmosphere can also be found in the first-floor living room, where you can relax on the sofa by the wood stove.
Enjoy life outside
You also have ample opportunity to admire the beautiful coastal landscape outdoors, where you have access to a covered balcony and two terraces. During the day, you can watch how the tides change the character of the Wadden Sea – and if you're a bird enthusiast, it's recommended to bring binoculars so you can observe the diverse birdlife while sitting comfortably in the garden furniture.
Get up close to the local attractions
With such an excellent accommodation, you can gather great nature experiences without ever leaving the property. However, there is also good reason to venture a little away from the summer house, as Rømø offers many more beautiful areas and fun holiday activities worth exploring. If you feel like swimming, it’s recommended to head to the west coast, where you can play on Lakolk Beach and in the North Sea, while Havneby is the right destination if you want to play golf, buy delicacies at the fish shop, or take the ferry to the neighboring island of Sylt. Closer to the summer house is the lovely Kirkeby Plantation, and just across the road, you will find Rømø's popular butcher, which is one of several great shopping options on Rømø.
