Here you have access to good walking areas in nature right on your doorstep, to good bathing beaches and angling spots at Ordrup Næs plus activities in Næsskoven forest for all ages.
Welcome inside
The high located holiday house is a cosy basis for a couple or the small family. By the dining table you have a fine view to the landscapes. By the coffee table you may play board games and sit down planning the day. If you have been out walking or angling and need to get warm, the house has a fine sauna at your disposal.
Enjoy life outside
The big sloping nature plot you need to explore closer, as you may find hedgehogs as well as roe deer here. And the plot is bordering on an area with no buildings with grass areas and the burial mound Gadekærshøj between the holiday houses, where you can take a walk. By foot or on bicycle the village pond in Ordrup is not far away, and here you have eating places, a grocery store and an ice cream stall. The beach with bathing and fishing possibilities is also located close by.
Get close to the local attractions
There have been artist communities in Hornbæk, Skagen, Funen and Bornholm, and from 1930 to 1970 in Odsherred. This region is today probably the most densely populated area in the country with resident artists. We at Feriepartner Odsherred recommend you to visit Odsherred Art Museum in Asnæs to see the permanent exhibition of the Odsherred Painters. They arrived in the area around 1930 and wanted to re-invent the naturalistic painting. They were socially strongly engaged in their art and established at the same time the artist association Corner.
The unique and versatile landscape with the high light has for more than 150 years attracted the artists, and the landscape paintings are certainly dominating the exhibition at Odsherred Art Museum. Here it is possible to experience a close connection between the painting and the landscape, where it has its origin. They are not paintings detached from their origin but the same landscape right outside the door, seen and interpreted by various temperaments.
As its speciality, Odsherred Art Museum has naturally chosen primarily to emphasize the landscape art and its development from its origin in the Golden Age and up till today.
